ICHF 60th Year Celebration and Annual Meeting. Our featured program is “Chinese Inclusion in Telling Western Stories” by Dr. Liping Zhu, author of A Chinaman’s Chance: The Chinese on the Rocky Mountain Mining Frontier (University Press of Colorado, 2000) and, more recently, The Road to Chinese Exclusion (University Press of Kansas, 2013). Everyone is welcome and it’s free. Refreshments will be served after the program. The Pon Yam House will also be open for all to tour. The program is supported in part by a grant from the Idaho Humanities Council, a state-based program of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
