Play is crucial to development, to happiness, to empathy, to creativity, to connectedness, to reducing stress, oh and it is just fun. So come play with us in this Superhero Showdown inspired day camp. Activities involve: superhero costume making and superhero slogan videos, comic book coloring creativity and choreographed fight scenes culminating in a mini action film screening, along with a delicious snack and lunch made by our little superheroes. There will also be much explorative and creative play time throughout the day in our unique spaces like the nest, deep tinker, taste buds, showtime, flutter foot and the slide zone. Ages 10-14.

Part of the U.S. Peace Corps Mission is to promote a better understanding of other peoples on the part of Americans. This program will highlight one volunteer's experience in Malawi. We'll begin with a discussion and slide show of images followed by a cooking demonstration of traditional foods, and wrap up the evening with a wonderful shared meal.
