The TCG City Championships tournament provides players the opportunity to succeed at an intellectual sport and test a player's Pokémon TCG skill, strategy and creativity.

As the first event in the Pokémon Organized Play (POP) Championship Series, players in each of the three POP-recognized age divisions compete for Pokémon TCG booster packs, a City Championship medal and for the honor of being named champion.
