The mission of Zoo Boise is to serve as an education and conservation institution that safely and humanely exhibits living animals for the purposes of
* educating children and adults about animals,
* animal habitats, and their preservation;
* encouraging the conservation, protection and propagation of rare and endangered species and their respective habitats;
* providing the public with a recreational opportunity to view a variety of live animals exhibited in conditions allowing them to display natural traits;
* providing an attraction for tourists and visitors; contributing to the bank of knowledge about animals through limited research.
Admission fees: $6.50 general, $4 seniors, $3.75 children 4-11. Free for children 3 and younger.
